So, what I'm thinking about tomorrow...
- Got to pick-up some numbers for the draw/redraw or I'll be cutting numbers at the last minute.
- Need to organize how everyone signs in - 4 people in Pit Shack needs organization.
- I'm thinking I'll be entering new drivers (all of those people who didn't see fit to pre-register),
- someone will have to verify car numbers and take registration forms, they should write the number in the corner of the form & also note it on the driver list (for later verification).
- someone could write the receipts, also take $$ for IMCA when needed
- & a 4th could verify IMCA cards, make sure the pre-registered have signed in & have them pull #'s for draw/redraw.
- Need another Receipt book & Printer Ink & munchies/sweets for the girls.
When someone who hasn't pre-registered comes in- they will go to #2 & fill out form, & verify car # available. They will then be sent to #3 (or #4 for IMCA registration), pay fees and then go to #4 to draw. #3 will give me the registration form for computer entry.
All parking questions are handled by Andy who they will have to find, get a card with the Parking spot # on it and come pay #3.
Afterwards, we drink!
This week should be the worst of it all. We have 70-80 cars pre-registered but the car count isn't where it usually is so that means that LOTS of IMCA class cars will be registering. I think this is a pretty good plan but we won't know until it's over...
As for our new guest, it's been an exciting week and will end on Sunday with school staring back Monday morning. I've already explained that the shopping will stop during the week and we will be eating at home during the week. No problem she says, so we are planning on lots of healthy dinners, a meat & veggies, she will fix the veggies or salad & I'll cook the rest. The weekend is for eating out and other stuff. She and the kid are getting along better now. I think she now understands that he is supposed to be her brother and that is how is trying to act. They've gone to town together a couple of times and she's had friends ask if she was dating him not knowing that she is "our" daughter now.
Also this weekend, the kid brought some of this college buds home. They are out working on his race car because if he is going to run and impress them tomorrow night, he had to change motors and hope that is what it needs. He picks up one more tomorrow afternoon and that will make the 4-some complete. It should be interesting. One of the boys bought some b/w fudge with them too... it looks yummy!
