It's been several months since I last blogged. Lots of things have happened. Our new guest thought she was really a guest in the house and wouldn't be part of the family without a lot of pushing. She is now at someone else's home/hotel until school is out and will be sent to Houston area for her shopping enjoyment. That was another issue with her, she was a shop-a-holic and admitted it. Every time the door opened for us to leave, she thought she was going shopping, almost a Pavlov's dog effect. If it wasn't for the shopping and laziness, I think we might have overcome the OCD problem with the anti-bacterial lotion every 5 mintues and her attention getting meals. I'm sure the 20+ pounds she gained will come off fairly easily once she gets home.
Other than that, there is the issues with my siblings and parents. The parents want to still interfere with my life and the siblings, well, we were never much of friends anyway. Parents think that even though their daughter is 50, has fairly successfully raised a son and managed to stay married for 22+ years, they still need to tell us how to live our life's. I'm hoping that if they come up in a few weeks, they will have either figured things out.
Racing is going well. I only have to call for support occasionally when we have weird events happen & I don't know how to handle it. I don't care to talk to support much anyway since he can be loquacious and obnoxious, but he knows his program. I don't have much arguments from the drivers about their points and really the lap counters have only a few problems too, so it's pretty smooth and we enjoy working together.
