New Beginnings

So you are probably thinking my new beginnings is keeping up with blogging once again. You would be wrong. My new beginnings are my returning to the college scene after a few years hiatus. Ok, like 20+ year hiatus. My how times have changed! My first class is a mini-mester and it's totally on-line. Other than purchasing the book (which technically I could buy on-line too) I may never have to go to a physical building, at least not this semester.

My plan is to get my associates degree at the Jr. College (16 hours max) and then finish up at one of the nearby colleges. That is the first steps and they all started tonight with a music appreciation class. Funny, for just a general Associates degree all I really need is a Fine Arts & a Computer class. It seems that technology has changed a bit since the mid 70's. The rest of the hours are needed to say I went to that College (& Jr. College).

Anyone following this blog will now get a dose of what going back to school at the age of ...oh my gosh, do I have to say it since I don't feel it... after being out for 20+ years is like.

Oh, a few items of interest not school related... after 32 years for Andy & almost 25 for me, we are no longer associated with the local race track. It doesn't mean the boys have given up racing but we will be racing at another track. This is actually big news if you know us and will be a major adjustment come spring.
