Ok, I know it was just August and school was starting... now it's the end of the first 6 weeks and report cards are going out on Wednesday. What happened??
Lets see if I can catch up...
The Kid left for his 3rd semester of college & I was sad to see him go - again but I also enjoy the peace of having only 1 male to contend with. Racing season was very short for him as previous posts have pointed out.
Hubby is grippy about work still but at least there are some days that are better than others. He seemed to enjoy racing more than The Kid due to the car he was "pit-boss" for won a few features. He also got a new sign for the track and he gets along with the new owners.
I've been busy with school and racing (until last week). At school I play nurse, web-designer, secretary & special Ed aide. At any given minute I could put on 2 or more hats along with being an extra tech person. I enjoy the variety. Racing is over for the season except one big race - the monster mash- then I get to get ready for next year. Make driver applications (or update them), pay cards, and try to work out new software to see if we like it. This year went pretty well. Not too much complaining, mostly near the end where points are tight and the math doesn't work in the leaders favor. I've learned that some people are just complainers and some complain to rile you up. Trying to figure out which is which is the trick!
And here we are. I don't have new photos of cards or cars to post but maybe soon. I did try a new technique using packing tape and sparkle glitter that worked really well. I'll have to make another one to post here. I have a stampin up! party next week and I think we'll make a Halloween/Fall project, just have to wait and see.
