Wow, the year has gone by fast, that's about all I have to say. I haven't had time to reflect on the previous year but I'm sure it will probably be my next post.
School has been a mad-house. Kids are ready for Christmas break but there is still much to learn. Teachers are ready for Christmas break but there is still much to teach. Weather has been one front after another, causing it's own set of rules with outdoor recess and everybody's moods.
Dear Son has been coming back and forth from school, moving back home. We're trying to prepare having him back under our roof but it will be interesting after having him gone for 1 1/2 years. I know he was home for summer but that's a little different as it's not a daily routine. DS will also have his issues being back under Mom & Dad's rules, I'm sure, but for now, everything seems to be O.K.
Hubby has been busy with work and getting things done around the house. He's finished the dry creek bed (except for the lack of rain to see if it works right) and he's pretty sure he's finished the hardscape in the front yard. Again, we are still waiting for a heavy rainfall to make sure everything runs the way it's supposed to. You can check out the landscaping done on Flickr.
I'm trying to just tread in place. Work, home and friends - all keep me busy. It's been quite a year and hopefully next year will be as full and productive!
