Blogging... what things of interest do I have to say and who the heck will read it?

Gil is cooking a little more. He's actually a pretty good cook. He made steak sandwiches last night that weren't too bad for his first time. School & work keep him busy.

Andy still plays with his cars. Paris is the racetrack of choice this year and he's excited and ready. Of course, Gil will be doing the driving.

I'm going to school to work, going to school on-line to get finish a degree and coming home. Nothing too exciting.

Allis, our 4 year old Shepard has been the main focus these last few weeks. She has lost a great deal of weight (120 down to 74 pounds) and the vet did exploratory surgery on her. We found she has Chronic cirrohisis of the Liver and her liver function is only 15%. Now that we know, we are treating her with Antibiotics and hoping that she gains weight with meds and feeding her table food if she wants it. We re-visited the vet this week and she is up 3#! Her appetite is back because of the steroids we are giving her which is a big help. I guess the good thing about the surgery is that it wasn't cancer & she's still with us, and that she hasn't acted ill during the whole process - just didn't eat.
